NOTD L'Oreal in Insolent Magenta - Color Riche Nail collection

When I first saw the Color Riche Nail collection in shops, it didn't convince me that much. I didn't even think to buy one. Why? I don't know. I couldn't find the packaging so attractive and ages ago I owned a couple of their nail polishes which didn't impress me at all and, last but not least, as far as I know, L'Oreal tests its products on animals and this is another good reason to buy something else (even if I know that the NOT cruelty-free companies are definitely a lot, quite all for the moment).

Quando ho visto per la prima volta la collezione Color Riche Nail nei negozi, non mi ha convinta molto. Non ho nemmeno pensato di comprarne uno. Perchè? Non saprei. Non trovavo il packaging troppo attraente e tanto tempo fa ho avuto un paio di loro smalti che non mi hanno affatto colpita e inoltre, ultimo ma non meno importante, per quel che ne so, L'Oreal testa i suoi prodotti sugli animali e questa è già un'ottima ragione per comprare altro (anche se so che le aziende NON cruelty-free sono molte, quasi tutte per ora)

I bought anyway n. 504 Insolent Magenta and I have to say it is very good! I loved the colour, the texture, the lasting and how easy it is to apply. Starting from the hue, I can say it is a deep fuchsia, quite dark, tending to red more than pink. It is quite a cold shade as it contains a subtle blue shimmer that you can see perfectly in the bottle, but not on the nails.

Ho comunque acquistato il n. 504 Insolent Magenta e devo dire che è ottimo! Mi sono piaciuti il colore, la formulazione, la durata e quanto è semplice applicarlo. Cominciando dalla tonalità, posso dire che si tratta di un fucsia intenso, abbastanza scuro, che tende di più al rosso che al rosa. E' una sfumatura abbastanza fredda anche perchè contiene un sottile shimmer blu che si può vedere perfettamente nel botticino, ma non sulle unghie.

The formulation is good, it looks quite like gel once it dries, but it's a little bit thicker than usual when applying it. The special brush is something never seen before. It is flat and quite wide and the end part is rounded. This allows you to be very precise in applying the polish on the bottom of the nail and a little less on the sides. Overall I really like it.

La formulazione è buona, una volta asciutto sembra quasi gel, ma è un po' più spesso del consueto quando si tratta di applicarlo. Il pennellino speciale è qualcosa di mai visto prima. E' piatto ed abbastanza largo e la parte finale è arrotondata. Questo permette di essere molto precisi nello stendere lo smalto alla radice dell'unghia ed un po' meno ai lati. In ogni caso mi piace molto.

It lasts really more than one week without chipping or cracking. It is extremely glossy and bright. It is an amazing colour for any season. The bottle is quite tiny, the right quantity to avoid wastes of product or getting bored of the shade.

Ha una durata davvero superiore alla settimana senza scheggiarsi o formare crepette. E' estremamente lucido e luminoso. E' un ottimo colore per qualsiasi stagione. Il botticino è abbastanza piccolo, quanto basta per evitare sprechi di prodotto o per annoiarsi della tonalità.

 

The Color Riche Nail collection comes in a wide range of shades for a very reasonable price. You can find them at about 4 € each. You can buy them in all the perfume shops or drugstores or in OVS stores in Italy.

La gamma Color Riche Nail è disponibile in una vasta gamma di colori ad un prezzo decisamente ragionevole. Si trovano a circa 4 € l'uno. Si possono comprare in tutte le profumerie o nei negozi OVS in Italia.

MAC Flamingo lipstick - Iris Apfel collection

Let me start this post telling you that buying this lipstick has been an adventure more than a simple purchase. The fact is that when I realized that I wanted Flamingo, it was already sold out everywhere. The thing is that I wanted it so bad that I decided to purchase it from a very good US ebayer, but the problems started when the parcel arrived to the Italian Customs.

Fatemi cominciare questo post dicendovi che comprare questo rossetto è stata più un'avventura che un semplice acquisto. Il fatto è che, quando ho realizzato di voler così intensamente Flamingo, era già andato esaurito dappertutto. Tuttavia lo desideravo così tanto che ho deciso di comprarlo da un ottimo ebayer americano, ma i problemi sono cominciati quando il pacchetto è arrivato alla dogana italiana.

I'll go directly to the conclusions in order to avoid boring you. I ended up by waiting my lipstick for over one month and a half, I had to fill and send at least ten official forms, send copies of my personal documents and I finally paid about 50 € including the cost of the product, the delivery, the documents delivery, taxes and import freights. So, if I can give you an advice, avoid buying things like makeup if there is a Customs clearance procedure between you and your seller. I personally won't do this ever and ever again.

Passo direttamente alle conclusione per non annoiarvi. Ho finito per aspettare il mio rossetto per più di un mese e mezzo, ho duvuto compilare e spedire almeno dieci moduli ufficiali, inviare copie dei miei documenti personali e in conclusione ho pagato circa un totale di 50 € tra costo del prodotto, spedizione, invio dei documenti, tasse e costi di importazione. Quindi, se posso darvi un consiglio, evitate di comprare articoli di makeup se c'è una dogana tra voi ed il vostro venditore. Personalmente non lo rifarò mai più.

I really cannot say that all this has been worthy, but for sure this lipstick is amazing. The colour is unique. It is truly like a flamingo and I couldn't describe it any better. It is a kind of dark pink shade with some red in it. We already swatched Party Parrot from the same collection which is quite similar, but definitely more intense and opaque. Flamingo is more sheer and delicate even because it has a Lustre texture.

Non posso proprio dire che ne sia valsa completamente la pena, ma di sicuro questo rossetto è bellissimo. Il colore è unico. E' veramente quello di un fenicottero e non potrei descriverlo meglio. E' una sfumatura di rosa scuro con del rosso al suo interno. Abbiamo già postato lo swatch di Party Parrot dalla stessa collezione, che è abbastanza simile, ma decisamente più intenso e coprente. Flamingo è più trasparente e delicato anche perchè ha una formulazione Lustre.

Another wonderful piece from the Iris Apfel collection which has been launched in the very beginning of 2012 and which has imposed the trends for the warm season. Flamingo doesn't last so many hours, but it has a quite moisturizing formulation and it looks goods with pretty every daytime outfit and makeup.

Un altro splendido pezzo dalla collezione Iris Apfel che è stata lanciata all'inizio del 2012 e che ha dettato i trend per la bella stagione. Flamingo non dura molte ore, però ha una formulazione abbastanza idratante e si abbina bene a qualsiasi outfit e makeup per il giorno.

The original retail price was 14,50 $ in the USA and 18,00 € in Europe. I'm almost sure you cannot find it anymore, but you can ask to your nearest MAC shop or counter if they could ever have any piece left.
Il prezzo originale di vendita era 14,50 $ negli Stati Uniti e 18,00 € in Europa. Sono quasi sicura che non si riesca più a trovare, ma potete in ogni caso chiedere al vostro negozio o corner MAC più vicino se per caso ne hanno avanzato qualche pezzo.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake

Not a lot of time ago, we posted a review of Revlon's Lip Butter in Candy Apple and, we know, you liked it a lot, so we are back with another shade which is Strawberry Shortcake.
Non molto tempo fa, abbiamo postato una review del Lip Butter Revlon in Candy Apple e sappiamo che vi è piaciuta molto, così siamo tornate con un nuovo colore che è Strawberry Shortcake.

There's not a lot of things to say about the formulation of these lipsticks, because we already talked about that enough, but I just want to underline once again how much they are amazingly moisturizing. They really seem a lip balm, but they give a beautiful hint of colour to your lips.

Non ci sono molte cose da dire a proposito della formulazione di questi rossetti, perchè ne abbiamo già parlato abbastanza, ma volevo comunque sottolineare ancora una volta quanto sono incredibilmente idratanti. Davvero hanno l'effetto di un balsamo labbra, ma donano una bellissima
nota di colore.








I've chosen the Strawberry Shortcake colour because I usually go for pink or nude shades. Actually, as the lip butters have been launched in the USA last November, I had a lot of time to read many and many things about them and decide which were my favourite colours, but when they arrived in Italy the bad surprise was that we have available just half the complete range. Of course Gumdrop and Cupcake haven't come here, yet. Anyhow cold pink tones are definitely what we'll be seeing almost everywhere in the next months, so I'm pretty satisfied with my Strawberry Shortcake purchase.

Ho scelto il colore Strawberry Shortcake perchè di solito vado per le tonalità rosa o neutre. Inoltre, poichè i lip butter sono stati lanciati negli Stati Uniti lo scorso Novembre, ho avuto molto tempo per leggere tantissime cose su di loro e per decidere quali erano i miei colori preferiti, ma quando sono arrivati in Italia, la brutta sorpresa è stata che la gamma disponibile é esattamente la metà di quella esistente. Ovviamente Gumdrop e Cupcake non sono ancora arrivati. In ogni caso nei prossimi mesi vedremo ovunque tutte le sfumature del rosa freddo, quindi sono abbastanza soddisfatta del mio acquisto di Strawberry Shortcake.

On your lips it's a delicate pale pink with a subtle silver shimmer. It's shiny and bright, but a bit sheer. It doesn't make you look like an "old woman" as you could think because of its shade. It lasts about three hours without fading.

Sulle labbra resta un rosa pallido e delicato con un finissimo shimmer argentato. E' lucido e luminoso, ma leggermente trasparente. In ogni caso non regala un grazioso aspetto da "vecchietta" come si potrebbe pensare per via del tipo di colore. Dura circa tre ore senza sbiadire.



As we already said, they are really cheap in USA as they cost about 7 $ and in the UK where you have to pay about 7 £. In Italy, instead, you have to pay about 16 € that is really too much. You can buy them online only in certain Countries from drugstore.com or Boots for example. In Italy they are quite difficult to be found, you can purchase them from Coin shops or you should have a look in the main perfume shops.

Come abbiamo già detto, sono davvero a buon prezzo negli Stati Uniti dove costano circa 7 $ e nel Regno Unito dove si pagano circa 7 £. YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Levres - Glossy Stain in Rose Pastelle

So our passion for the pink colour continues and it seems that it will be endless during spring and summer. Today we would like to introduce a new must-have in our beauty cases and, as expected, we went for a pink shade. This item is new and there's been a lot of rumor about it on internet. We are talking about the wonderful YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Levres in Rose Pastelle (n. 18).

Dunque la nostra passione per il colore rosa continua e sembra essere senza fine in questa stagione primavera / estate. Oggi vorremmo presentarvi un nuovo must per i nostri beauty case e, come previsto, abbiamo scelto una tonalità rosa. Questo prodotto è una novità assoluta di cui si sta discutendo molto su internet. Stiamo parlando del meraviglioso YSL Rouge Pur Couture Vernis à Levres in Rose Pastelle (n. 18).

There is no doubt, it is beautiful. A very elegant packaging, never seen before. The black pot and the golden cap make it look so rich and sophisticated. I really like it. The golden carton box is a bit too much in my opinion, but there's no problem as I've already thrown it away.

Non c'è dubbio, è bellissimo. Un packaging molto elegante, mai visto prima. Il botticino nero ed il cappuccio dorato lo rendono molto ricco e sofisticato. Mi piace davvero tanto. La scatoletta in cartone dorato è persino un po' troppo secondo i miei gusti, ma non è un problema visto che l'ho già buttata via.

Now let's come to the formulation which is the stunning innovation. What is this product exactly? It is a kind of mix between a highly pigmented lipstick, a gloss and a lip tint. Why? Because it is basically a lip stain as it gives a long lasting colour to your lips as a tint does, it's rich and creamy as a lipstick and it gives a super glossy effect to your lips as a lipgloss does.

E adesso veniamo alla formulazione che rappresenta davvero la novità assoluta. Cosa è questo prodotto esattamente? E' una specie di mix tra un rossetto molto pigmentato, un lucidalabbra ed una tinta. Perchè? Il motivo è che si tratta fondamentalmente di una tinta perchè il colore di base tinge le labbra che restano colorate a lungo, ma è ricco e cremoso come un rossetto e lascia una finitura super lucida come un lucidalabbra.

You should apply it on dry lips, so avoid putting lip balms before. For better results you should apply a first coat, wait for it to dry without touching or tighten your lips. After 20/30 seconds, you should apply a second generous coat. The texture is quite liquid, but the application is simple thanks to the special sponge brush which is wide and flat with a slim edge. The colour and the glossy effect can last up to five hours and your lips surprizingly don't loose their hydration.

Si deve applicare su labbra asciutte, quindi bisogna evitare di passare prima del burrocacao. Per un risultato migliore, é meglio dare una prima passata, attendere che asciughi senza toccare e senza chiudere le labbra. Dopo 20 / 30 secondi si deve applicare un secondo generoso strato. La consistenza è abbastanza liquida, ma l'applicazione è semplice grazie al pennellino fatto di spugna che è largo e piatto con un'estremità sottile. Il colore e l'effetto lucido possono durare fino a cinque ore e le labbra restano incredibilmente idratate.

 There's a wide choice of colours of about 19 shades. They are more oriented on reds, purples and pink tones. There aren't nudes or browns. Actually I was looking for the n. 17 - encre rose, but when I swatched it, I realized that it was too similar to NARS Coeur Sucré that I already own, so I went for n. 18 - rose pastelle. It is a pale baby pink. It's definitely light and it's got a light blue undertone. So I don't recommend it for dark and tanned skin tones or the "ill" effect is ensured.

C'è un'ampia scelta di colori tra circa 19 tonalità. Tutte orientate sui toni del rosso, viola e rosa. Non ci sono colori nude o marroni. In realtà io cercavo il n. 17 - encre rose, ma quando l'ho provato, mi sono accorta che era troppo simile a Coeur Sucré di NARS che ho già e quindi ho scelto il n. 18 - rose pastelle. E' un rosa confetto pallido. E' molto chiaro ed ha un fondo azzurrognolo. Quindi non lo consiglio per visi abbronzati o con tonalità di pelle più scure perchè altrimenti l'effetto "malato" è assicurato.

This item is not cheap as you have to pay it about € 27,50, but you can consider it an "investment" and buy it instead of two other less expensive lip products. You can purchase it in the main perfume shops with a YSL counter or online from YSL web boutique (for USA only) or from Boots, Sephora and Douglas.

Questo prodotto non è economico perchè costa circa € 27,50, ma si può considerare un "investimento" e magari acquistarlo al posto di altri due articoli meno costosi. NARS Coeur Sucré - Larger than Life® lip gloss

If you follow our blog, for sure you'll know that I've been very disappointed by the NARS New Order highlighting blush powder, but I've also tried the Coeur Sucré lip gloss from the new range Larger than Life® and it is simply amazing. The best lip gloss I've ever tried!

Se seguite il nostro blog, di certo sapete che sono rimasta molto delusa dal NARS New Order highlighting blush powder, ma ho anche provato il lip gloss Coeur Sucré della linea Larger than Life® ed è semplicemente meraviglioso. Il migliore che abbia mai provato!

The first reason why I love it, is because it's super long lasting. It's incredible, but it can stay, bright and shiny on your lips, up to 5 hours and, in the meantime, it is not sticky or heavy at all. I never had a lipgloss which lasts for so long.

Le prima ragione per cui lo adoro è il fatto che ha una durata super lunga. E' incredibile, ma può restare, brillante e luminoso sulle labbra, fino a 5 ore e, nel contempo, non è appiccicoso o troppo denso. Non ho mai avuto un lipgloss che durasse così a lungo.

The packaging is stunning, as it usually is for NARS. The transparent and shiny pot with the velvet black cap is extremely elegant.

Il packaging è eccezionale, come, del resto, è abitudine per NARS. Il recipiente trasparente e lucido, in contrasto con il cappuccio nero e vellutato, forma un insieme estremamente elegante.

The brush is made of bristles instead of the usual tiny sponge. This is another thing that I've liked a lot, as I prefer it and I think that it allows a more precise application.

Il pennellino è fatto di setole invece della solita spugnetta. Questa è un'altra cosa che mi è piaciuta molto perchè lo preferisco e trovo che permetta un'applicazione più precisa.

Now let's come to the colour, Coeur Sucré. I chose it because I saw it swatched online, otherwise I would have probably gone for a lighter shade. This because it looks really hot pink. A kind of Barbie colour, but once it's on your lips, it is a beautiful soft pink shade with a delicate hint of silver shimmer. It's fresh and extremely shiny.

Adesso passiamo al colore, Coeur Sucré. L'ho scelto perchè l'ho visto online in alcuni swatch, altrimenti avrei probabilmente scelto una tonalità più chiara. Questo perchè sembra veramente un rosa molto forte. Una specie di color Barbie, tuttavia, una volta sulle labbra, è una bellissima sfumatura morbida  di rosa con un delicato tocco di shimmer argentato. E' fresco ed estremamente lucido.

Larger than Life® is a registered formulation, which has been lauched by NARS  for Spring 2012. For what concerns the lipglosses of this range, they should have plumping effects. I actually haven't felt any peculiar difference in my lips, but I don't mind as it wasn't something that I didn't look for.

Larger than Life® è una formulazione registrata, lanciata da NARS per la Primavera 2012. Per quanto riguarda i lipgloss di questa linea, si suppone abbiano un effetto rimpolpante. A dire il vero, non ho percepito nessun particolare cambiamento nelle mie labbra, ma non è un problema visto che non era qualcosa che cercavo.

This lipgloss is not exactly cheap as it comes at 25,00 €, but it's totally worth the money and I would buy it again and again. You can find it in UK, USA and some few other lucky Countries at NARS counters in the main perfume shops or online on NARS web shop or from HQ hair.

Questo lipgloss non è esattamente economico perchè costa 25,00 €, ma credo che valga tutto il suo prezzo e lo ricomprerei ancora e ancora. Si può trovare in Gran Bretagna, negli Stati Uniti e in pochi altri fortunati Paesi nei corner NARS presso le principali profumerie, oppure online sul sito NARS o su HQ hair.

NOTD Models Own in Bubblegum

As we are now quite in the warm season, I thought to show you one of the brightest nail polishes in the entire world. It is Bubblegum from the Neon Brights range of Models Own nail varnishes. It is the most fluo colour I've ever seen on nails.

Visto che siamo quasi nella bella stagione, ho pensato di farvi vedere uno degli smalti più vivaci del mondo. E' Bubblegum dalla gamma Neon Brights di Models Own. E' il colore più fluo che io abbia mai visto, da portare sulle unghie.

Probably from the pictures you won't be able to realize how bright is this colour, because you need to see it under the real sunlight. Anyhow you can think about an highlighter pen and imagine it on your nail and that's what Bubblegum is.

Probabilmente dalle foto, non riuscirete a capire quanto questo colore è brillante, perchè dovreste davvero vederlo dal vivo sotto la luce del sole. Tuttavia potete pensare ad un'evidenziatore ed immaginarlo sulle vostre unghie e questo è quello che è Bubblegum.

One warning. Don't use it if you are a shy person or if, for whatever reason, you don't want to have people's attention on your hands. Because this colour is definitely in your face and attracts the attention. That's also why I recommend it on short nails only.

Un'avvertenza. Non usatelo se siete timidi o se, per qualsiasi ragione, non volete che la gente porti la propria attenzione sulle vostre mani. Perchè questo colore è molto d'impatto, si fa notare e attrae lo sguardo. Anche per questo motivo consiglio di utilizzarlo solo su unghie corte.

Formulation wise, I liked it as it's not too thick and you can obtain perfect opacity with two coats. It lasts about one complete week, but there's one trouble. When the nail polish dries, it becomes matt, so you are obliged to put one transparent top coat to make it glossy and shiny.

Dal punto di vista della formulazione sono soddisfatta poichè non è troppo denso e con due passate si ottiene una coprenza perfetta. La durata è di circa una settimana, ma c'è un problema. Quando lo smalto asciuga, diventa opaco ed è d'obbligo passare una mano di top coat trasparente per renderlo lucido e brillante.

Models Own's nail polishes are not expensive, as you can have them for £ 5,00 which is about € 6,50 and the bottle isn't small. You can purchase them on their own website or on Asos with free international delivery.

Gli smalti Models Own non sono cari, infatti costano £ 5,00 che equivalgono a circa € 6,50 e il boccettino non è per nulla piccolo. Si possono acquistare sul loro stesso sito oppure su Asos con consegna internazionale gratuita.

NOTD China Glaze in Wicked Style

I know I wrote that I don't like coral shades that much, but it seems they are the absolute trend for this 2012 Spring and I somehow started to appreciate them. My latest purchase in coral comes from the China Glaze's Spring Electropop collection.

So di aver scritto che le varie sfumature del color corallo non mi piacciono molto, ma sembra che siano il trend assoluto per la primavera 2012 e in qualche modo ho cominciato ad apprezzarle anche io. Il mio ultimo acquisto in corallo arriva dalla collezione primavera Electropop di China Glaze.

Its name is Wicked Style. It is a pastel bright coral red with a pink undertone. It's not easy to show you in pictures how it really looks like. Because it is definitely a pale red and the hint of pink comes out just under a strong light.

Si chiama Wicked Style. E' un rosso corallo pastello molto brillante con un fondo di rosa. Non è facile mostrare in foto come appare veramente questo smalto. Perchè è decisamente un rosso pallido e la sfumatura di rosa viene fuori solo sotto una luce forte.

The formulation is thick, even a bit too much. But two coats are enough to ensure perfect opacity so, in the end of the day, it's ok. It doesn't last as much as you would expect, because after some days it starts chipping. The finishing is glossy and bright.

La formulazione è molto densa, perfino in po' troppo. Ma due passate sono sufficienti a garantire coprenza perfetta, al punto che, alla fine, va bene così. La durata non è sorprendente perchè dopo pochi giorni cominicia a scheggiarsi. La finitura è molto lucida è brillante.

Overall I like this nail polish a lot. I like the colour and how it looks on the nails as well. I think it's a perfect shade for spring and summer and it matches with all the current fashion trends. So I highly recommend it.

Nel complesso questo smalto mi piace molto. Mi piacciono il colore e l'effetto che fa sulle unghie. Credo che sia perfetto per la primavera / estate e incontra prefettamente le tendenze fashion del momento. Quindi lo consiglio caldamente.

NARS New Order - Highlighting Blush Powder

The highlighting blush New Order has been lauched by NARS for Spring 2011. I purchased it online a couple of weeks ago and I'm sad to say that it has disappointed me. Unluckily I expected another kind of product and this is probably one of the troubles of buying things online.

L'illuminante New Order è stato lanciato da NARS per la primavera 2011. Io l'ho comprato online un paio di settimane fa e devo dire che mi ha molto delusa. Sfortunatamente mi aspettavo un altro tipo di prodotto e questo probabilmente è uno dei limiti dell'acquisto online.

It is a beautiful shade of cold pink. Tending a bit to lilac. I thought it could be very good for my pale skin and I thought to use it to highlight the area above my cheekbones and around the nose and so on. I would have liked to use it also as a fair blusher.

E' una bella sfumatura di rosa freddo. Tende leggermente al lilla. Ho pensato fosse ottimo per la mia pelle pallida e avevo idea di utilizzarlo per illuminare l'area sopra gli zigomi e attorno al naso e così via. Mi sarebbe anche piaciuto usarlo come un blush molto leggero.

BUT...It's is full of silver glitters!!!Too many and too big for my tastes. Once applied on your face, you really shine, or, better, the glitters all over your face shine as the stars. Believe me, this is not the result you would expect. And the effect is even worse under the sunlight. This is extremely disappointing and, in my opinion, makes the product unusable unless you want to play the part of a fairy.

MA...è pieno di brillantini argentati!!!Troppi e troppo grossi per i miei gusti. Una volta applicato sul viso, si diventa davvero brillanti, o, meglio, i glitter sparsi su tutto il viso brillano come stelle. Credetemi, non è certo il risultato che ci si aspetterebbe. Overall the only thing I liked is the packaging because NARS's packaging are wonderful. They look so professional and elegant. The velvet sensation when you touch them is amazing, but I think, this time, it's not enough.

Nel complesso l'unica cosa che mi è piaciuta è il packaging perchè, si sa, le confezioni di NARS sono meravigliose, così professionali ed eleganti. La sensazione di accarezzare il velluto che si ha quando le si tocca, questa volta non è comunque abbastanza, credo.

As all the NARS products, it's very expensive as it comes at 29,00 €. You can purchase it by the NARS counters in the main perfume shops (not in Italy) or online on HQhair or on NARS website, but pay attention to the delivery cost which is extremely high.

MAC Innocence, Beware! lipstick - Shop collection

I'm sure you already saw the 2012 Spring main collections launched by MAC lately. The Shop MAC and the Cook MAC collections. Don't you think they are amazing?! I love them. Some items are a little bit too bright to me, but I adore everything in any case. In Italy the selling start has been on March 1st, but the day after, a lot of things were already sold out. So be quick if you still want to find that special something which you put your eyes on!

Sono sicura che avete già visto le principali collezioni MAC lanciate per la primavera 2012. Le collezioni Shop MAC e Cook MAC. Non le trovate meravigliose?! Le adoro. Alcuni prodotti sono forse un po' troppo vivaci per me, ma, in ogni caso, mi piace veramente tutto. In Italia le vendite sono iniziate il 1° Marzo, ma già il giorno seguente, un bel po' di roba era già esaurita. Quindi siate veloci se volete accaparrarvi quel qualcosa di speciale che tenete d'occhio!

From the Shop MAC collection I purchased the most amazing nude lipstick which name will sound familiar to the biggest MAC fans amongst you, as it is Innocence, Beware! and, as you'll know, they already proposed in limited edition it in their Venomous Villains collection for 2010 Fall.

Dalla collezione Shop MAC ho acquistato il più incredibile rossetto nude il cui nome suonerà familiare ai più grandi fan di MAC tra di voi. Infatti si tratta di Innocence, Beware! e, come saprete, era già stato proposto nella collezione Venomous Villains collection per l'Autunno 2010.











It is a cremesheen formulation, which means that it's not extremely pigmented, but it is very moisturizing.

The colour is a wonderful nude. It is a pale beige tending to pink. It has not that important hint of yellow, that usually you find in nude lipsticks, which can make you look a little ill. It's also got a light, almost invisible pink shimmer. It's perfect for an everyday look and it's very good all year long.

Il colore è un meraviglioso nude. E' un beige pallido, tendente al rosa. Trovo che non abbia quel pesante tocco di giallo tipico dei rossetti nude che può dare un aspetto un po' da ammalato. Ha inoltre dei sottilissimi, quasi invisibili, brillantini rosa. E' perfetto per il look di tutti i giorni e per tutte le stagioni.

This lipstick comes at 14,50 $ in the USA and at 18,00 € in Europe which is quite a high price, but it is totally worth the money. You can find it in MAC shops or counters only.
