Skin care - Morning Moisturizing - Anatomicals No Old Bags Allowed and Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Anti-Wrinkle Fluid

Some months ago, I posted my evening cleansing routine that you can read here. Now I would like to show you how I'm currently proceeding with my morning face moisturizing. Let me start saying that I have two staple products which are Anatomicals' No Old Bags Allowed for my eye area and Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée anti-wrinkle fluid for the rest of my face.

Fatemi cominciare dicendo che ho attualmente due prodotti di base che sono No Old Bags Allowed di Anatomicals per il contorno occhi e Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée anti-wrinkle fluid per il resto del viso.

After having washed my face, I proceed patting with my ring finger a tiny amount of Anatomicals' No Old Bags Allowed gel on the area below my eyes. Anatomicals is a UK brand which I personally like a lot. They sell several face and body care products with beautiful and colourful packagings at very reasonable prices. No Old Bags Allowed has a gel texture, very light and refreshing.

Dopo essermi lavata il viso, procedo picchiettando con l'anulare una piccola quantità del gel No Old Bags Allowed di Anatomicals solo nella zona al di sotto degli occhi. Anatomicals è un marchio britannico che mi piace molto. Produce diversi articoli per la cura del viso e del corpo con bellissimi packaging colorati a prezzi molto ragionevoli. No Old Bags Allowed ha una formulazione in gel, molto leggera e rinfrescante.

It reduce the puffiness of the morning and meanwhile it moisturize the very sensitive skin of that area which remains soft and elastic all day long. It isn't sticky and it has no smell, thing that helps reducing the possibility of allergic reaction.

Riduce il gonfiore mattutino delle borse e, nel mentre, idrata la pelle molto sensibile di quest'area che rimane morbida ed elastica per tutto il giorno. Non tende ad essere colloso e non ha profumo, cosa che riduce la possibilità di reazioni allergiche.

Before I go on, I need to tell you that I've got a combination skin with some more oily areas and some drier and sometimes some blemishes, so probably my routine wouldn't be suitable for all of you. Having said that, I go on applying my Caudalie Pulpe Vitaminée Anti-Wrinkle Fluid, which is really amazing. I bought my first bottle when I received a sample of it at home about one year ago and I repurchased it again and again and it's currently my favourite.

Maybelline Color Tattoo in Permanent Taupe

Another product that we have been waiting for so long has finally reached Italy! I'm talking about the Maybelline Color Tattoo eyeshadows. It's not so easy to find them, but they are here now. We read and heard so many things from US blogger and vlogger in the last months that we couldn't wait to try them.

Finalmente un altro prodotto che aspettavamo da tempo ha raggiunto l'Italia! Sto parlando degli ombretti Color Tattoo di Maybelline. Non sono facilissimi da trovare, ma ora sono comunque qui. Negli ultimi mesi abbiamo letto e sentito così tante cose dalle blogger e vlogger americane che non vedevamo l'ora di provarli.

This eyeshadow has a new concept formulation which is something between a cream-to-powder and a gel eyeshadow. They promise it lasts 24 hours without creasing or fading. The colour is very strong as it is highly pigmented. That's what the product is supposed to be, but what do we really think about it?! Well, I've got quite controvesial opinions. First let me say that I've worn it and actually it last at least 14 hours, but I didn't go any further, because I felt the need to put my makeup off before going to bed. The colour is really intense, but probably a bit too much to me. The consistence is creamy and I preferred to apply it with a brush and then blend it with the fingers. Because of its consistence I found hard to blend it together with another colour on the outer corner of my eye, because the second colour tends to create a spot.

Questo ombretto ha una formulazione di nuova generazione che è una via di mezzo tra un cream-to-powder ed un gel. Ci promettono una durata di 24 ore senza che finisca nelle pieghe o che sbiadisca. Il colore è molto forte visto che è estremamente pigmentato. Questo è ciò che il prodotto dovrebbe essere, ma noi cosa ne pensiamo davvero?! Beh, a dire il vero, ho opinioni abbastanza controverse. Prima di tutto fatemi dire che in effetti dura almeno 14 ore, ma non sono andata oltre perchè ho sentito l'esigenza di struccarmi prima di andare a letto. Il colore è veramente intenso, ma forse perfino un po' troppo per me. La consistenza è cremosa e io ho preferito applicarlo con un pennello per poi sfumarlo con le dita. A causa della consistenza stessa ho trovato difficile sfumarlo con un altro colore sulla parte esterna della palpebra, perché il secondo colore tende a creare una macchia unica.

I actually went for the Permanent Taupe colour because in Italy they lauched just 6 colours instead of the 10 available in the USA and you are able to find only 4 shades out of the 6. The one I chose is the most neutral one as the others were definitely too strong and bright to me. The thing that has disappointed me a bit is the fact that this kind of "greige" shade, once applied is basically a matt grey with high covering proprieties.

Io ho scelto il colore Permanent Taupe perchè in Italia sono stati lanciati 6 colori invece dei 10 disponibili negli Stati Uniti, di questi 6 colori se ne riescono a trovare solo 4. Quello che ho scelto è il più neutro anche perchè le altre tonalità sono decisamente troppo forti e vivaci per me. La cosa che mi ha un po' delusa è il fatto che questa specie di color "greige", una volta applicato, diventa praticamente un normale grigio opaco molto coprente.

The creamy consistence remains unchanged all the time, I mean you won't feel it as powder. I guess it's a very good product if you look for quite an extreme look with an important makeup on your eyes for a dramatic result. Furthermore it allows you to apply your eyeliner without any problem.

La consistenza cremosa resta invariata per tutto il tempo, quello che voglio dire è che non si ha la sensazione che si trasformi in polvere. Credo sia un ottimo prodotto per chi cerca un look abbastanza estremo con un trucco importante sugli occhi ed un risultato molto scenografico. In ogni caso permette inoltre di applicare una matita o un eyeliner senza problemi.

Likaria Pâte - Cuticle Remover Paste

For sure you all know that, in order to obtain a good manicure, you have to remove cuticles from the nails edge. But you'll also know that experts advise against trimming them or, worse, tearing them. So what to do?! I personally found a solution with this magic red paste!

Sicuramente tutti saprete che, per ottenere una buona manicure, è necessario rimuovere le cuticole intorno all'unghia. Però sapete anche che gli esperti sconsigliano di tagliarle o, peggio ancora, strapparle. Quindi cosa fare?! Personalmente ho trovato la soluzione in questa magica pasta rossa!

It works this way. After having removed the polish for your nails, wash carefully your hands, then put a tiny bit of paste around each nail. You can apply it with the flat part of the wood stick that you nornally use for manicure. Once you'll have applyed it on all your nails, you can start pushing the cuticles backwards with the help of the other side of the stick.

Funziona in questo modo. Dopo aver rimosso lo smalto dalle vostre unghie, lavatevi bene le mani, poi applicate una minima quantità di pasta intorno a ciascuna unghia. Potete applicarla con la parte piatta di un bastoncino in legno di quelli che normalmente si utilizzano per la manicure. Una volta che l'avrete applicata su tutte le unghie, potete cominciare a spingere le cuticole indietro con l'aiuto dell'altro lato del bastoncino.

Now you can leave it on for other five minutes, then you have to remove it, simply by washing carefully your hands (Don't forget this step!). If you'll use it steadily, you'll have a reduced growth of cuticles upon your nails.

Ora potete lasciarla in posa per altri cinque minuti, poi dovete rimuoverla, semplicemente lavandovi attentamente le mani (Non dimenticatevi di questo passaggio!). Se la utilizzerete con costanza, otterrete una riduzione della crescita delle cuticole sulle vostre unghie.

The Likaria Pâte is an Italian Product from the Company Borella. The tiny round pot with light blue lid, comes into a small carton box containing also an instructions booklet. The paste is a sort of bright red gel with no smell.
