Urban Decay Naked Palette 2

It was quite a long time we were hearing that probably Urban Decay would have launched the Naked Palette 2, now it is official. It exists, it is amazing and they sell it on their website, but it is obviously over sold at the moment.

Era da parecchio tempo che sentivamo dire che Urban Decay avrebbe lanciato la Naked Palette 2, adesso è ufficiale. Esiste, è meravigliosa ed è anche in in vendita sul loro sito web, ma ovviamente al momento è esaurita.

Unluckily I haven't had the chance to test this item, as it is miles away from arriving in Italy, but I saw it on  Urban Decay website, where I took these wonderful pictures (please don't hesitate to contact me if you wish I remove them from my blog). So I couldn't swatch it, but I already own the original Naked palette and I'm sure that the quality is great.

Sfortunatamente non ho avuto la possibilità di provare questo articolo, visto che è lontano anni luce dall'arrivo in Italia, ma l'ho visto sul sito web di Urban Decay, da cui ho preso queste bellissime immagini (non esitate a contattarmi se volete che vengano rimosse da questo blog). Così non l'ho testata, ma poichè possiedo già la Naked palette originale, sono certa dell'ottima qualità.

This time the Naked 2 comes in a tin box with a wide mirror in the lid's inner part. They give you a travel-size Lip Junkie lip gloss in Naked and a special double-ended, cruelty-free brush. The twelve shades are stunning, the perfect completion of the first Naked palette.
One small remark, it costs $ 50,00. That is a pretty high price and it is currently available on Urban Decay web site only, which doesn't provide the international shipping. Probably we'll have to wait till the beginning of next year to see it "landing" in Europe.

Questa volta la Naked 2 arriva in un packaging metallico con un ampio specchio nell'interno del coperchio. Insieme ci sono in omaggio un lip gloss Lip Junkie color Naked in formato da viaggio e uno speciale pennello doppio, ma soprattutto, cruelty-free. I dodici colori sono stupefacenti, il completamento perfetto della prima palette Naked.
Un piccolo difetto, costa $ 50,00. Che è un prezzo abbastanza alto e al momento è in vendita solo sul sito Urban Decay che non offre la spedizione internazionale. Probabilmente dovremo aspettare l'inizio del nuovo anno per vederla sbarcare in Europa.

Soap & Glory - Lid Stuff in Smokey Dokey

Just one single word...STUNNING! I do love and love this eyeshadow palette. The packaging is absolutely amazing, the colours are great and the quality is very good.

Una parola soltanto...MOZZAFIATO! Adoro questa palette di ombretti. Il packaging è assolutamente meraviglioso, i colori sono fantastici e la qualità è ottima.

Soap & Glory, which was already one of my ever favourite brand, has now come out with this new gorgeous cosmetics line. The first item I've tried is this Lid Stuff palette in Smokey Dokey and I'm simply in love with it.

Soap & Glory, che era già una delle mie marche preferite, ha da poco lanciato questa meravigliosa linea di cosmetici. Il primo prodotto che ho provato è questa Lid Stuff palette in Smokey Dokey e semplicemente la adoro.

The four colours (Diamondust, Chine, Black Gold and Smokin’) are made of two light shades: a metalic white cream and a sheer metalic lilac and two dark shades: a creamy grey and a dark metalic grey.

I quattro colori (Diamondust, Chine, Black Gold and Smokin’) sono costituiti da due nuances chiare: un bianco crema metallico and un lilla metallico quasi trasparente e due nuances scure: un grigio opaco ed un grigio scuro metallico.

The eyeshadows are not so highly pigmented, thing that is good to me as I don't want a too heavy makeup. They are amazing to be blended and I really like every single colour. They last hours and hours.

Gli ombretti non sono molto pigmentati, cosa che per me va bene, perchè non voglio un trucco troppo pesante. Si sfumano benissimo e mi piace davvero ciascun colore. Durano ore e ore senza rovinarsi.




If I really have to remark something, probably I would have preferred less metalic shades and more creamy ones, as per the nude version. I'm anyway very satisfied with my purchase. If you don't like the Smokey Dokey version, there are two more options which are absolutely beautiful.

Se proprio devo fare un appunto, forse avrei preferito meno tonalità metalliche e più opache, come nella versione nude. Ma sono comunque molto soddisfatta del mio acquisto. Se non vi piace la versione Smokey Dokey, ci sono altre due varianti, altrettanto belle.

I definitely have loved this Soap & Glory new cosmetic line and my next purchase will be surely the Kick Ass Concealer. You can buy their line in Boots if you are in the UK or in Sephora if you are in the USA, for all the other Countries, you can try to have a look on ebay.

Questa nuova linea di cosmetici Soap & Glory mi ha davvero convinta e il mio prossimo acquisto sarà sicuramente il correttore Kick Ass.
