Intanto grazie a tutti quelli che hanno visitato il nostro blog in questi due primi giorni di attività, sinceramente speriamo vi sia piaciuto.
Questo post vuole essere una specie di consiglio per chi tra di voi avrà l'opportunità di procurarsi questa meravigliosa crema per le mani che è Hand Food di Soap & Glory.

This post wants to be basically a sort of advice for anyone who'll have the opportunity to buy this wonderful hand cream that is Hand Food from Soap & Glory.

Per chi tra voi non conoscesse Soap & Glory, si tratta di un marchio britannico di prodotti beauty dall'accattivante aspetto vintage, specializzato in body care e skin care che ha lanciato un paio di settimane fa una linea di cosmetici veramente meravigliosa che vi consiglio di esplorare qui.

For anyone among you who doesn't know Soap & Glory, it's a British brand of beauty products, with an attractive vintage look, mostly focused in body care and skin care, that has presented a couple of weeks ago a totally new and amazing cosmetic line which I warmly recommend you to explore here.

Tornando alla crema per le mani, posso dire che è la migliore che io abbia provato fino ad ora. La sua consistenza ricca, ma non grassa, con un solo utilizzo al giorno, magari la sera prima di andare a dormire, lascia le mani morbide e incredibilmente idratate, anche nella stagione più fredda. Il profumo è delizioso e completamente diverso da quelli a cui siamo abituate. Insomma un oggetto di culto! Un prodotto ottimo e bello da vedere nella sua confezione rosa, disponibile nel formato grande da 125 ml e "da borsetta" da 50 ml.

Coming back to our hand cream, I can say that it's the best one that I ever tried since today. Its texture is rich, but not greasy, with only one use per day, maybe at night, before going to bed, it leaves your hands skin soft and amazingly mosturized even in the coolest season. The smell is delicious and completely different from the ones we are used to. It is definitely a must have! A very good product and also beautiful to be seen in its pink packaging, available in big size of 125 ml and in "handbag" size of 50 ml.

Ormai avrete anche capito che scriviamo spesso di prodotti difficili da reperire in Italia tramite i normali canali di vendita, ma anche in questo caso con un po' di ricerche online, potete procedere all'acquisto. Noi abbiamo comprato su ebay perchè il sito ufficiale non offre la spedizione internazionale. Per chi si trova in UK la gamma Soap & Glory è sicuramente disponibile presso Boot, mentre negli USA la linea completa è appena sbarcata nei punti vendita Sephora.

For sure you'll have now understood that we often write about items that cannot be found easily on the Italian market, but even in this case, with some searches online, you'll be able to purchase this product.
We bought on ebay, beacause the official brand's website doesn't provide the International delivery. For anyone who is in the UK, the Soap & Glory range is available in Boot, while in the USA the complete line has just arrived in all the Sephora selling points.

Stila convertible color – dual lip and cheek cream

Si è rivelato uno dei migliori acquisti del 2011. Stila convertible color è diventato il mio blush preferito. La stesura sul viso è semplicissima (lo sfumo con le dita), il colore rimane trasparente e luminoso, supernaturale.  Anche la durata è ottima. Se steso sopra il fondotinta  rimane inalterato tutto il giorno. Ho la pelle del viso molto secca, e il prodotto, avendo una consistenza cremosa ma non grassa, è la soluzione perfetta in vista dell’inverno ormai alle porte. L’unica pecca, è il suo utilizzo sulle labbra. Non credo possa sostituire il rossetto o il gloss. Tende a seccare le labbra, ma se si applica un generoso strato di burro cacao, utilizzare lo stesso colore su labbra e guancie, credo renda il make up molto elegante. 

It has revealed  one of the best product I bought in 2011. Stila convertible color has become my favourite blush. It is easy to blend on the face (I do it with my fingers). The color is transparent and luminous, in other words supernatural. It is also long lasting. If used over the foundation it lasts all day long. My skin is very dry and the product, as its consistence is creamy but not oily, it is the perfect solution for winter time. The only defect is that it tends to dry lips, but applying a generous quantity of lip balm, it would be perfect to create a classy makeup. 

La palette dei colori rende ardua la scelta. Sono tutti naturali e portabili: Camellia , Fuschia, Gerbera, Gladolia, Peony, Petunia, Rose.  Alla fine, ho optato per il colore Rose. Purtroppo il brand Stila non è presente in Italia, ma è possibile acquistarlo su: Beautybay o Feelunique

The range of colors makes the choice pretty hard. They are all wearable and natural: Camellia , Fuschia, Gerbera, Gladolia, Peony, Petunia, Rose. I bought it in Rose. Unfortunately, the brand Stila is not sold in Italy, but it is possible to buy on: Beautybay o Feelunique

          

NOTD Ciaté Paint Pots in cream tea

Eccoci...primo post...Vista la nostra passione per gli smalti, il primo post non poteva che essere un nail of the day. Per l'esattezza il nostro smalto "must have" del momento è Cream Tea (n. 075) di Ciaté.

Here we are...first post...As we are huge nail polishes lovers, our first post had to be a nail of the day. More specifically our current "must have" nail varnish is Cream Tea (n. 075) from Ciaté.

Cream Tea fa parte della serie di 4 colori della collezione Heritage presentata da Ciaté per l' Autunno / Inverno 2011 che potete vedere qui. E' un colore non facile da descrivere, appartiene alla gamma dei neutri che vanno dal sabbia al fango di cui si è già tanto parlato. Noi l'abbiamo scelto perchè è diverso dagli altri. E' una tonalità più fredda, meno tendente al marrone, con un tocco di "shimmer" argentato che lo rende luminosissimo.

Cream Tea belongs to the serie of 4 colours from Heritage collection, presented by Ciaté for Fall / Winter 2011 which you can see here. It's not easy to describe this colour, it's in the range of neutral shades going from sand to mud, which we already heard a lot about. We chose it because it's different from all the others. It's  got a cooler shade and it doesn't tend to brown that much, furthermore it has this silver shimmer touch inside that makes it so bright.

Molto buone la consistenza e la formulazione, tanto che la stesura è molto semplice e, con due passate, il risultato è ottimale. Insomma ci sentiamo di consigliarlo a tutte, senza limitì di età o di stile. E' un colore che si sposa bene con qualsiasi tipo di abbigliamento e perfetto per ogni occasione. Molto sottile ed elegante. L'unico difetto è la reperibilità dei prodotti Ciaté in Italia. Purtroppo non si trovano presso i normali punti vendita. L'unico modo è acquistare online. Noi abbiamo comprato qui : The Beauty Booth (Sito inglese di vendita cosmetici) dove abbiamo trovato il migliore compromesso tra costo del prodotto e spese di spedizione verso l'Italia.

Great texture and formulation, enough to ensure a very easy application, and with two coats only, the result is perfect. Actually we feel that we can recommend it to every girl, no matter the age or style. It's a colour that goes well with every outfit and in every time. Very subtle and elegant. The only problem is that Ciaté products are not easy to be found in Italy. Unluckily you cannot find them in shops. The only way is buying online. We bought here: The Beauty Booth (Cosmetics selling site from UK) where we found the best compromise between the product price and the cost of shipping to Italy.
