I've been looking for a blue navy nail polish, with a "special", shade since quite a long time. I found it. From the Fall 2011 collection "Smoke and Mirrors", Marina by Zoya it's definitely what I was looking for. The colour is wonderful. A dusty blue, with grey nuances and a slightly metal base. A beautiful, original, delicate and very wearable shade.
Il colore é veramente bello, ma c'è un problema. Lo smalto è molto liquido, difficile da applicare e la brutta sorpresa è che, una volta asciutto, tende a fare tante minuscole bollicine poco visibili, ma che comunque rovinano il risultato finale. Inoltre tende a scheggiarsi facilmente, nonostante l'applicazione del top coat.
The colour shade is beautiful, but there's a problem. The nail varnish is very liquid, it's difficult to be applied and the bad surprise is that, once it dries, it tends to show several little bubbles on the surface, they are not so visible, but surely they ruin the final result. Furthermore the nail polish tends to chip very easily, despite the application of the top coat.
Sinceramente ho provato questo smalto una sola volta, perciò darò sicuramente un'altra possibilità per dimostrare che mi sono sbagliata e comunque, in ogni caso, questo colore mi piace troppo per rinunciarci.
Ovviamente Zoya non si trova in commercio in Italia, ma si può trovare on line. Io ho acquistato sul sito di LaLa of London che, tra l'altro, mi è piaciuto molto, perciò prendetevi il tempo di andarlo a visitare!
I sincerely tried the nail polish once only, so for sure I'll give it another chance to show me that I was wrong, and then, in any case, I love this colour too much to give it up.
Obviously you cannot find it in Italy, but you can find it online. I purchased mine at LaLa of London website, which I liked so much as a web store, so take you time to visit it!
