Kiehl's Lip Balm and Mineral Mascara

Gli articoli oggetto di questo post sono un regalo bellissimo che ho ricevuto dalla mia "socia di blog" per il compleanno. Ho sempre amato molto il marchio Kiehl's per via dei packaging così minimal, ma allo stesso tempo accattivanti, per via di quell'aria così professionale e poi per quella varietà così sofisticata di prodotti con nomi e formulazioni molto chic.

The items of this post have been given to me as a gift by my "blog partner" for my birthday. I've always been in love with Kiehl's brand because of the packagings which are so minimal, but meanwhile so attractive, because of their so professional look and then because of their range which is so sophisticated with very chic names and textures.

Non avevo mai avuto modo di provare i prodotti Kiehl's perchè non è facile trovarli in vendita, se non in profumerie molto specializzate e poi anche perchè sono molto cari. Da poco tempo è comunque possibile acquistare i prodotti nella boutique online.

I've never had the opportunity to try Kiehl's products it's not easy to find them, if not in  highly specialized perfume shops, and then even because they don't come cheap at all. By the way recently they started to sell their products on their online boutique.

Il balsamo per labbra è ottimo. Ha la consistenza di un gel, una volta applicato, dura parecchie ore e idrata le labbra assolutamente in profondità, rendendole inoltre molto lucide. In caso di labbra secche o screpolate, è sufficiente ripetere l'applicazione un po' più spesso perchè i danni vengano riparati in poche ore. E' disponibile anche nella versione profumata in tre varietà di frutta.

The lip balm is very good. It comes in a gel texture, once applied, it lasts several hours and it mosturizes your lips so deeply, making them also very shiny. In case of dry or chapped lips, you just have to apply it a little more frequently and the damages are repaired in few hours. The scented version is now available in three different fruit flavours.

Il mascara minerale è qualcosa di abbastanza nuovo. Il packaging è essenziale e non estremamente accattivante. Il prodotto è buono. L'applicazione è facile e non si formano grumi. Non è ben chiaro se il mascara vuole essere allungante o volumizzante, ma secondo la mia esperienza la resa è più allungante. L'applicatore è ben studiato, in plastica, e non raccoglie una quantità eccessiva di prodotto. Questo mascara non è waterproof e si rimuove facilmente evitando lunghi sfregamenti che potrebbero danneggiare le ciglia.

The mineral mascara is something quite new. The packaging is basic and not so attractive. The product is good. It is easy to apply it and it doesn't create lumps. It's not exactly clear which is this mascara's purpose, whether it wants to be extending or volumizing, but up to my experience it comes out more extending. The brush is well designed, in plastic material, and it doesn't pick up too much product. This mascara is not water proof and you can remove it easily avoiding long rubbings that could hurt your lashes.
